Flamenco guitar built by the dynasty Jose Ramírez, founded by Jose Ramírez de Galarreta y Planet, born in Madrid in 1858. It was in 1890 when he opened his workshop on the famous street Concepción Jerónimo, 2, where his descendants continued until 1995. This guitar was labeled in 2013 by the Ramirez house, but it was built around the 80’s.

The selection of woods used for this instrument is: cedar of great quality and a cure that lasted several years for the soundboard, and Indian rosewood of extraordinary quality and beauty for the body (sides and back), its grain straight and uniform.

The guitar is in a very good condition, it has a little fracture on the right side of the board.

CLASSICAL GUITAR BY ANTONIO PICADO

Flamenco guitar crafted by the luthier Antonio Picado. He started learning this art more than forty years ago, he has been acquiring the knowledge and skills to make high-quality instruments. Antonio works with the other two luthiers Ángel Genís and Carlos Prat.

It needs to be pointed out that his classic guitars are very much valued and renowned. The wood selected for this instrument is of high quality and well matured Canadian cedar; high quality and beautiful Brasilian rosewood for the soundboard (sides and back) very difficult to find nowadays… Due to the wood selection of the instrument, its sound is exquisite for the professionals and flamenco lovers bringing an outstanding depth and brilliance on the bass strings, with powerful and crystalline trebles, which is very comfortable for the guitarist’s hands.
