COMPLETE DESCRIPTION

Flamenco guitar built by the dynasty Jose Ramírez, founded by Jose Ramírez de Galarreta y Planet, born in Madrid in 1858. It was in 1890 when he opened his workshop on the famous street Concepción Jerónimo, 2, where his descendants continued until 1995. Their guitars have been praised by the best guitarists of both flamenco and classical music, highlighting among them Serranito, Paco de Lucía, Enrique de Melchor, Jose Antonio Rodríguez, and a long etc..

This guitar was labeled in 2013 by the Ramirez house, but it was built around the 80’s.

The selection of woods used for this instrument is: cedar of great quality and a cure that lasted several years for the soundboard, and Indian rosewood of extraordinary quality and beauty for the body (sides and back), its grain straight and uniform.
Thanks to the selection of woods used on this instrument, its sound is exquisite to the ears of both lovers and professionals of flamenco, offering exceptional depth and power in the bass strings, together with brilliant and crystalline trebles, as well as a great harmonic compensation between bass and treble, offering a unique and unmistakable sound…

This guitar offers perfect comfort on both of the guitarist’s hands.

The pulsation of this guitar is of medium tension with the strings at perfect height for performance.

The guitar is in a very good condition, it has a little fracture on the right side of the board.
