The selection of woods used for this instrument are, for the top it is German Spruce top of an exceptional sonority and a veined one of great quality, cypress for the body (hoops and back) of a beauty and impressive characteristics almost impossible to obtain nowadays…The woods were provided by his brother Eladio, having in his power woods of an insurmountable quality.
Thanks to the perfect selection of woods used by Gerundino for this instrument make its sound totally extraordinary, with an exquisite power and depth in the strings, the cousins are crystalline and clean offering an enviable balance and projection. Gerundino passed away in 2006.
The pulsation of this guitar is of medium tension with the strings at a perfect height for its execution.
The guitar is in an excellent state, totally original and simply presents a crack under the bridge completely repaired and varnished.
