The selection of woods used for this instrument is: for the soundboard, Cedar of exceptional sound and grain of great quality; Brasilian rosewood of impressive beauty and features is used for the body (sides and back), its quality so good it is almost impossible to find nowadays… The woods were provided by his brother Eladio, who owned woods of unbeatable quality.
Thanks to the perfect selection of woods Gerundino used on this instrument, its sound is completely extraordinary, offering exceptional depth and power on the bass strings, as well as crystalline and clean trebles, offering enviable balance and projection. The sound is typical and exclusive to Gerundino’s guitars, and it is absolutely extraordinary.
Gerundino passed away in 2006.
The pulsation of this guitar is of medium tension with the strings at the perfect height for performance.
The guitar is in an excellent condition, it only presents a little crack in the side and it is kept in its original state
