Flamenco guitar built by the luthier Gerundino Fernández Llamas, son of the great master Gerundino. He was born in Almeria in 1974 and from a very early age, he helped his parents in some tasks related to the construction of guitars, such as sanding woods, putting pawns, gluing backs, etc. He has a vast knowledge when it comes to woods thanks to his uncle Eladio, who took him to locate, cut and select the best woods for his father. In 2015 he decided to continue the tradition and started to build guitars himself, using the techniques, tools, and woods his father used to. His guitars have great sound quality and incredible finishes, respecting the typical Gerundina sound.
The selection of woods used for this instrument is cedar of exceptional sound quality and top quality grain for the soundboard and cypress of extraordinary beauty and features for the body (sides and back), both almost impossible to find nowadays. The woods were provided by his uncle Eladio, who owns woods of unbeatable quality.
Thanks to the perfect selection of woods Gerundino has used on this instrument, its sound is absolutely extraordinary, offering exquisite power and depth on the bass strings, together with crystalline and clear trebles. The sound is that of a Gerundina guitar, typical and unique, and absolutely extraordinary.
The pulsation of this guitar is of medium tension with the strings at the perfect height for performance.
The guitar is in excellent condition, it has barely been used.
