Flamenco guitar built by the craftsman Gerundino Fernández Llamas, son of the great master Gerundino. He was born in Almería in 1974, and from an early age he helped his parents in tasks related to the construction of guitars, such as sanding timbers, laying pawns, gluing backs and boards, and so on. He also has a vast knowledge on woods thanks to his uncle Eladio, who took him many times with him to locate, cut and select the best woods for his father. In 2015 he decided to continue the tradition and began to build his own guitars, using the same tecniques, tools and woods as his father before him. His guitars have a great sound quality and perfect finishes, respecting the typical sound of a Gerundina.

He also has a vast knowledge on woods thanks to his uncle Eladio, who took him many times with him to locate, cut and select the best woods for his father. His guitars have a great sound quality and perfect finishes, respecting the typical sound of a Gerundina.
We would like to highlight the fact that this guitar is the first one of a limited edition, built exclusively for La Guitarra Flamenca.
The selection of woods used for this instrument is: cedar of exceptional sound quality and with top quality grain for the soundboard, which has been under a drying process for more than 35 years, and stunning black river rosewood of alpergia for the body (sides and back), its features beautiful, almost impossible to find nowadays… The woods of river rosewood are of the black alpergia species, of the year 1966 and come with their respective accrediting documentation.
Thanks to the perfect selection of woods Gerundino used on this instrument, its sound is absolutely extraordinary, offering exquisite depth and power on the bass strings, together with crystalline and clean trebles, as well as enviable balance and projection. The sound is that typical and exlusive to Gerundino.
The pulsation of this guitar is of medium tension with the strings at perfect height for performance.
