Flamenco guitar built by the craftsman Gerundino Fernández Llamas, son of the great master Gerundino, was born in 1974 in Almería and from a very young age helped his father and mother in tasks related to the construction of guitars such as sanding wood, putting pawns, gluing funds and covers and so on.He is also a great connoisseur of woods thanks to his uncle Eladio who took him many times to locate, cut and select the best woods of his father.it is in 2015 when he decides to follow the tradition and begins to build his own guitar using the techniques, tools and woods of his father. His guitars have a great quality of sound and finishes, respecting the typical sound of a Gerundina.
To emphasize that this guitar is the number 1 of a limited edition totally exclusive for La Guitarra Flamenca.
The selection of woods used for this instrument are, for the top, a cedar top with an exceptional sonority and a high quality grain with a drying of more than 35 years, black alpergia river rosewood for the body (sides and back) of a beauty and impressive characteristics almost impossible to obtain nowadays…The woods of river rosewood are of the species Black Alpergia of the year 1966 with its respective accredited documentation.
Thanks to the perfect selection of woods used by Gerundino for this instrument make its sound totally extraordinary, with an exquisite power and depth in the strings, the cousins are crystalline and clean offering an enviable balance and projection. Typical and exclusive sound of gerundino.
The pulsation of this guitar is of medium tension with the strings at a perfect height for its execution.
