COMPLETE DESCRIPTION

Flamenco guitar built by the José Ramírez dynasty, founded by José Ramírez de Galarreta y Planet, born in Madrid in 1858. He opened his famous workshop in 1890 on 2, Concepción Jerónimo street, where his descendants kept working until 1995. His guitars have been praised by the best guitar players, both of flamenco or classical music, among which we can highlight the following: Serranito, Paco de Lucía, Enrique de Melchor and Jose Antonio Rodríguez.

The selection of woods used for this instrument is: cedar of extraordinary quality that has been under a cure that lasted several years for the soundboard, and absolutely stunning cypress of extraordinary quality for the body (sides and back), its grain straight and uniform.

Thanks to the selection of woods used on this instrument, its sound is exquisite to the ears of both lovers and professionals of flamenco, offering exceptional depth and power on the bass strings, together with brilliant and crystalline trebles, as well as great harmonic balance between bass and treble, offering it typical and unmistakable sound.

This guitar offers perfect comfort on both of the guitarist’s hands.

The pulsation of this guitar is of medium tension with the strings at perfect height for performance.

The guitar is in a very good condition, it only presents a crack on the board, which has been completely repaired and revarnished.
