COMPLETE DESCRIPTION
Flamenco guitar crafted by the guitar maker Juan Roman Padilla, born in 1928. Since the age of nine, he became fascinated by the world of luthiers until 1960, when he studied with the grand master German Perez Barranco, although he was mainly self-taught.
He was a great innovator and many luthiers and craftsmen sought his knowledge and advice. His guitars are of great quality and excellent but simple finishing. Juan Roman is not active at the moment.
The Wood selected by Juan Roman for this instrument (German Pine Spruce for the soundboard, Cypress for the body, sides, and back) are of great quality and beauty and carefully chosen.
Thanks to the selection of the wood of this instrument, the sound is exquisite to the ears of flamenco lovers and professionals in the world of flamenco. The wood gives it depth and outstanding brilliance on the bass strings with powerful and crystalline trebles, and a comfortable feeling in both hands.
The pulsation of the instrument is medium tension with the perfect string height for playing.
The guitar is in a very good state, and with only a small scratch which is hardly visible and repaired by Francisco Sanches, keeping the original varnish.
